Anyone familiar
with Power Factor training? Anyone tried it? It looks like
an excellent way of keeping track of progress and planning
workouts.

Have you given
James' course and Workout Routine Underground Mass Secrets
an honest shot yet? I think you will find that you don't have
to try all sorts of other courses if you just stick with this
course consistenty. Try it for 3 months and you will see a
difference.

This is a problem
I see all the time. I think it is a subconscious means of
sabotaging progress or getting to the point of your personal
" no mans land". Instead of sticking to one workout
routine and doing it well or long enough to even finish ,
I see alot of people all of a sudden switch workout routines
when the going gets tough or at the point that would mean
pushing harder or more consistently than they personally ever
have.
O r instead of doing, they keep learning more and more knowledge
but not applying it , instead they skip from workout routine
to workout routine never following one completely or thoroughly
to receive the benefits. Just hopping on the latest trend
.
This is the same phenomenon of learning about a workout routine
very thoroughly (eg Power Factor Training, Four Phase Plan,
etc) but not getting diet down enough to see results.
This is a serious problem and very difficult to
catch on yourself. Easy to see in others sometimes.
What is the solution?
Well the solution is very easy ,
I think the key is to simplifiy things for yourself and forget
about using lack of knowledge or fear of failure as an excuse.
To not just do.
Instead, start small and observe your day. Do you have alot
of unfinished business in your life ? If so then make a list
of all the things you need to get done or finish then prioritise
each item from most important to least important.
Dont worry about the outcome or how perfect your end result!
I nstead focus on completion as best as you can in a realistic
time period. Applying this here, as Roy said, dont worry about
Power Factor Training until you have put on alot of muscle.
As for what I think of Power Factor training I have summed
it up on this Forum, It has some benefits and some serious
shortcomings. It is ok to do as a supplement to this program,
as in once you are advanced with this Four Phase system adding
in a Power Factor Phase for a week once every four to eight
weeks but any more than that and Iwill wager money your gains
will suffer.
No one has ever got big following only Power Factor Training
workout routines and I have strong reservations concerning
their training frequency recommendations. Training once every
two to three months just does not work.
I Will say that their is some good reading and something to
learm from John LIttle and Peter Sisko but where are all the
milenium monster bodybuilders they betted would appear by
now using their training? Power Factor Training is not new
it has been around for about 14 years I believe. JOhn and
Pete are definitely not examples themselves physically I would
want to look like. I would have to quit training and eat at
Mcdonalds for five years to regress to their conditioning.
Good writers though and even better marketers...
